Coalition Building

CLAAD takes immense pride in the consensus it has developed among diverse sectors of society on the important public health issues of deterring pharmaceutical diversion, misuse and abuse while simultaneously ensuring safe and lawful patient access to prescription medications. We welcome the collaboration of organizations and individuals interested in working with other allies to create and implement effective public health, safety, and education policies at the local, state, and national levels.

Our coalition members represent a wide array of expertise on the issue of prescription drug diversion, misuse and abuse. The result of this unique collaboration is balance in research, policy analysis and work products.

As a coalition of diverse interests, membership in CLAAD is voluntary. Our constituents participate by subscribing to our newsletter, Policy Brief, attending the National Prescription Drug Policy Consensus Meeting, and contributing to the National Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention Strategy.
